The Gunn House Hotel has a long history. The Gunn House Hotel was formally the County’s hospital and boarding house.

The turndown service here is one of a kind. In room 10 it has been reported that a man was violently thrown out of his bed. There has been many reports of furniture moving through out the room in the middle of the night. Guests have had an apparition standing at the foot of their bed, dressed in old fashion clothing. There is also an spirit of a lady that is near the fireplace in the parlor room and has been spotted several times. Several shadow people have been seen on the stairs.
